TEZI GABUNIA

Tezi Gabunia (თეზი გაბუნია - 1987) was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. In 2008 he gained the Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Georgian Technical University and Since 2012 Gabunia joined the Fine Art. Tezi Gabunia’s work mostly involves visual intallation, sculpture, painting and video. Currently he lives and works in Tbilisi, Georgia. In 2016 Gabunia was awarded with Tsinandali Prize in Visual Arts (Georgia). Tezi Gabunia is a co-founder and key member of “CopyPaste’” (2015) which is the platform of artists and architects. His works are exhibited group and personal shows both locally and internationally in partnership with different galleries and art fairs. Gabunia’s work has been shown MOCAK Museum of Contemporary Art, Krakow, Poland (2017) at The Armory Show, USA (2020) and Collaboration with CopyPaste at Tbilisi Architecture Biennial (TAB) 2018
