TAMAR NADIRADZE

Tamar Nadiradze (თამარ ნადირაძე - 1991) is a visual artist who lives and works in Tbilisi. She studied at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts (2010-2014), and graduated with a specialty in Book Illustration and Design. Later she also completed an informal master’s program at the Center for Contemporary Art – Tbilisi (2016).

From 2014 to 2016, Tamar Nadiradze worked at the Art Book Center. She was a resident artist at KAIR art residency in 2016 and 2018 (Kosice, Slovakia).

The major focus of the artist’s work relates to the following areas: the dialogue between social life and anthropology, mythology, psychology, as well as gender. Nadiradze primarily uses paper and watercolors as her media. 

From 2019 to 2021 years Tamar Nadiradze conducted five group exhibitions and one solo exhibition in Tbilisi Georgia.
