PAKO SHVELIDZE - OTHER VOICE

Pako Shvelidze’s exhibition called Other Voice showcases the artist’s works created over a concrete period. Simultaneously seen and heard in one space, form, color, and voice come together in one performance enabling the gallery’s visitors to enter a transcendental, irreal, or mystical state. “Exhausted from erosive living, people have developed a keen ear for a comforting
voice. Because neither the sounds of nature nor those around them can give them peace and quiet” (P. Sh.).

In a series created just for this concept, the artist uses sound, voice, form, and color to offer us her own ways to quench our spiritual thirst, something that evokes different impressions and emotional states among viewers. Pako Mariam Shvelidze was born in 1978, in Georgia. In 1995-2001, she studied oil painting and art at the Tbilisi Academy of Fine Arts. She has taken part in the following exhibitions:

In 2020, personal exhibition Dialogue in Silence at the Folklore State Center in Tbilisi,
Georgia.
In 2003, at Simon Janashia Museum in Tbilisi, Georgia.
In 2004, Kopala Gallery, Tbilisi, Georgia.
In 2011, Tbilisi Museum of Puppets, Tbilisi, Georgia.
In 2017, international exhibition Under the Wings of an Angel, Baku, Azerbaijan.

The exhibition will continue from November 27 through December 6
