SPATIAL SENSES OF ABSTRACTION

03 SEP / 15:00 Tsinandali Estate
On September 3, 3 p.m. the Tsinandali Estate exhibition series continues with the group exposition “Spatial Senses of Abstraction”.
The exhibition will showcase the importance of abstract art in general and the participation of Georgian artists in its amplification. Abstraction is the foremost experience of modernist art, through which the perceptions and feelings of the challenging era have been conveyed. Being the language of many contemporary artists, it is still very relevant. The collection presented at the exhibition connects modernist beginnings with the present day.
Next to the selected work from David Kakabadze's heritage will be presented abstract searches of Georgian artists who became participants in the artistic process from the 1970s-80s to the present: Levan Tchoghoshvili, Gogi Chagelishvili, Leila Shelia, Koka Ramishvili, Vakho Bughadze, Tengiz Marr, Luka Tsetskhladze, Otar Andronikashvili.
